I am trying to get my son to read more. He does not like fantasy (which is my go to) and he doesn’t like adventure unless there is a love interest. I have found that he loves a good love triangle and it’s a bonus if it’s funny. But obviously appropriate for a 12 year old. No sex or too many F words. Sorry this is so specific.
