For my book group challenge this month we need to read a book by an Irish author . I’m in a bit of a reading slump at the moment so can anyone recommend my a book that is easy to read and not to long. Any genre is fine although I’m not really a romance girlie

Julius Winsome, by Gerard Donovan, is so good I read it in one sitting.
“Small Things Like These” by Claire Keegan meets all of your criteria. Read it a couple of months ago and loved it. Short (~130 pages) and super well-written.
If you need to read an Irish author you may as well go for the top:
**James Joyce**
The Heart’s Invisible Furies
