I realized that 7/8 of my books so far this year are written by men. And the only one written by s woman that I read was "where the crawdads sing", and I have to say that was absolutely terrible. It has such problamatic themes of racism and pedophilia that's the author just glosses over and acted like it was fine.
I don't really care the genra, just something that is very interesting, and has a good story. My favorite book is project hail mary if that helps.
I saw a post that men don't read by female authors and I don't wanna be in that stereotype.
