Hi everyone!
I’m looking for book recommendations similar to Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. I loved the depth of the characters, the emotional journey, and the way the story mixes personal struggles with social and historical themes. Books that really make you feel something and stay with you after finishing them are my favorite.
I also really enjoyed A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, so I guess I’m drawn to powerful, emotional stories about human resilience, injustice, and hope.
If you know novels with a similar vibe strong characters, touching stories, and meaningful themes I’d love to hear your recommendations!
