i'm looking for romance recs with a truly morally gray MMC, not just "he's rude because trauma" and the narrative excuses it. i want one where he's actually flawed and knows it.
FMC requirements: has to push back. not someone who folds the second he pays attention to her. smart dialogue is a big plus. if she can hold her own in a verbal fight i'm immediately interested.
