    Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking about picking up The Sword of Kaigen for a while now because I’ve heard a lot of great things about it from readers in the fantasy community. The story sounds really interesting, and from what people say it seems like one of those books that really sticks with you after you finish it. The only issue I’m running into is actually finding a hardcover copy at a reasonable price.

I’m personally more of a hardcover reader whenever possible. I just prefer the feel of them, and they tend to hold up better over time compared to paperbacks. Because of that, I started looking around online to see if I could find a hardcover edition of the book, but the prices I’m seeing seem kind of crazy.

Most of the listings I’ve found are going for around $400+ USD, which feels extremely high for a single book. From what I’ve been able to gather, a lot of the hardcover versions were released as limited special editions, which might explain why they’re so expensive now on the resale market. Some of them were signed or part of small print runs, so collectors seem to have driven the price up quite a bit.

I’m just wondering if I’m missing something here. Are there actually any reasonably priced hardcover versions out there that I just haven’t come across yet? Maybe a standard edition that’s easier to find, or a retailer that still carries them at a normal price?

If anyone here owns a hardcover copy or knows where they managed to find one without paying hundreds of dollars, I’d really appreciate the help. I’d love to read the book in hardcover if possible, but right now it feels like I might be looking in the wrong places.

    Thanks in advance!
