Hi – I’m looking for horror (especially survival horror) where the characters are trapped in an isolated setting, unable to escape. Some examples are:
– The Luminous Dead – sci-fi horror set in a cave
– The White Road – horror set on Everest
– Ascension – also set on a mountain
– The Thing (the movie) – set at an arctic research station
I’m particularly interested in anything set in caves, on mountains, or things like arctic research/saturation diving. Also very open to horror books that crossover to sci-fi or fantasy. Thank you!
