If you haven't read this book, I absolutely implore you to read it. It's beautiful!
What I liked about it:
1. The protagonist is in her late twenties and is strong in a realistic way (she isn't a girl boss. she's just existing and trying her best in her circumstances)
2. While it may have romance (and a great one at that!) the focal point is Valancy's own growth and happiness
3. And of course Montgomery's excellent prose and narration.
Does anyone have recommendations that are similar to this? Well-written, romantic, and heart-warming?
