Doesn’t have to be horror, could be thriller. Something that had u hooked from page 1 and u never put it down.
I’ve been in a 2 year slump and used to read 100+ books a year and barely got through 4 last year.
I need to be brought back in. Disturbing, emotional, dark is usually my go to. I love weird as well.
I love cj leede, Tiffany Jackson, nick cutter, chuck tingle, cm3, carmen Maria machado.
Doesn’t even have to be horror thriller. Shark Heart made me sob like a baby.
I just need to be brought back to my love of reading!

The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell was very good.
Brother by Ania Ahlborn it’s horror and very disturbing, so check triggers if needed.
I recently came onto Reddit to try and get out of a much longer slump. Lots of people were suggesting The Cipher by Kathe Koja. I ordered the paperback and was so hooked I even read it on the toilet when I normally look at Reddit.
