“Before the coffee gets cold” is only lukewarm

I'm 75% of the way through this book and honestly I'm kind of bored. Idk if I should even read the rest of the series. I guess my expectations were too high after reading "The Full Moon Coffee Shop." I expected a similar vibe. It's a good book for when you need a break or are in a slump but that's about it. Is the rest of the series better? Or do you have a different recommend?
