I love dragons but I've noticed most dragon books are either like a magical bond or it's like a fantasy world where dragons are everywhere. I really want a story where dragons aren't mindless but also aren't telepathic talkers or give the rider some magical power. And the whole battle between dragon riders and the sides is really cool. So if anyone has recs that would fit in this I will love you with all my heart.
