Been on a bit of a nostalgia kick recently and read lots of my childhood favorites — stuff like Geronimo Stilton, The Boxcar Children, Alex Rider etc. — and I've just been wondering if there are any newer series that I could enjoy.
I like children's mysteries because there's generally nothing nefarious going on, and a lot of the mystery turns out to me misunderstandings or mild villainous behavior, not truly gory stuff like murder, but I guess books meant for adults would work too.
I'd love something a bit silly or comforting to read. Thanks!
