Have you ever "casted" a famous Hollywood actor as character in a book you began reading, but they die within the few first chapters and you think "dang, I shouldn't have wasted such a good actor on that character this early on."
For example, I recently read a book where I imagined Rebecca Ferguson as one of the initial characters, only for her to be killed off within the next few pages.
Edit: Try and be as vague as you can about the character deaths, as they could be big spoilers, but also, I'm asking about characters that die very early on, so some might not be worried about those spoilers.

No, and casted isn’t a word.
I cast Sean Bean for every character, just in case.
I’ve never even considered using real actors for my mental image to begin with
I’ve never heard of anyone doing this, so it’s kinda interesting. You just choose an actor you’ve seen that seems to fit the role? Or is it based off the character’s description?
When I started seriously reading when I was a kid in the early 80s, my brain defaulted to “casting” people I knew or had seen on TV as the characters in the book.
Sometimes I do it for fun but mostly it’s just an unconscious thing I always do / have done.
