So, I spend a lot of time reading. I read because I enjoy being lost in a totally fictional world where reality is tested. As you may expect I read 100% fiction. Some of my favourites include, The gone World by Tom, S. Wayward Pines, The Library at Mount Char, The Fisherman.
I have bought many non-fiction books in my time but can only list 1/2 that I actually enjoyed and took value from. One of which was, Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I end up buying them but never get around to reading them and often when I do, I never finish them.
I think most of my non-fiction learning comes from Youtube. Here I will watch finance videos, martial arts videos etc. Things I need to learn.
Nevertheless, every now and then I get this feeling of guilt or rather, that I should be learning as I am reading otherwise, I may as well be watching some 'trash TV', or 'Doom Scrolling'.
Does anybody else experience this and how do you deal with this feeling?
