Help me find a horror novel for my brother and me to read together

I’m looking for something we can read and talk about. We are both in our mid-twenties, and whenever I see him, he is always telling me about recent audio dramas that he has listened to. Over this past Christmas, he told me he wants to read more! Yay, I love reading! I thought it would be fun to have something we could read and discuss! He is into horror/sci-fi, which I like a lot too! Here is a list of the plots/vibes he has mentioned to me:

1. A group of people stuck together, and something happens to them (a killer, a haunting, or just strange things that they can’t figure out)
2. No horror that depends on gore. A little gore is fine, but it shouldn’t be the main horror
3. Likes analog horror
4. Enjoys mythology and folklore
5. The audio drama he told me about recently that he really liked was called The White Vault
