I have been on a relentless search for the perfect 80s book for a while, constantly posting for recs. I just want a book that feels like all my favourite books/films from the 80s! I have already been recommend Boys life and heaps of Stephen king so I would appreciate other ones 🙂

Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger has the same coming-of-age nostalgia vibe you get from Stand By Me (there are other commonalities that I won’t specify so as not to spoil you)
