I am looking for fiction books that perfectly balance literary depth and entertainment value

I'm sorry if my title is a bit too ambigious

Like , there are books that are pure fun , popcorn blockbuster book such as project hail mary or dark matter while there are some deep , philosophical with layers of interpretation like east of eden or lonesome dove . I want to see what the middle ground look like

Also for clarification , I'm not saying either of those books are bad , I'm just seperating them the way I see it and I am so sorry if this post come out as offensive
