I know the point of spice is to be more than 3 peppers lol, BUT I generally have an aversion to spicy romantasy because of the whole idea of adding spice to any kind of fantasy novels. I just think that, for a fantasy, regardless of if it has romance or not, it does not need sex in it. Tension sure, but not sex.
That said, I would like to try out a few that aren't Jennifer L. Armentrout or Sarah J. Maas. I've read, or at least attempted to read, the latter, but I couldn't get through neither ACOTAR nor TOG's first books (even though the latter doesn't have spice). However, I was pleasantly surprised by "The Serpent and the Wings of Night", so:
It doesn't necessarily have to be something with vampires in it, but anything that's similar in whatever way to "The Serpent and the Wings of Night" and that's also 3 or less peppers spicy works for me.
(I'm aware that according to romance.io, at least, the Crowns of Nyaxia kind of alternate between 3 peppers and more than 3 peppers in terms of spice, but I am willing to look past that if the story keeps being good futher in the series).
