I'm looking for books (fiction or nonfiction) set in Chicago in the late 1920s and/or the 1930s. Bonus points for books written in that time period as well. James T. Farrell's Studs Lonigan trilogy has come up a few times (do you know it/recommend it?) Any other ideas? Thanks for any suggestions!
