I'm reading the War for Late Night and I find it facsinating how the NBC/TV executives navigated this situation (or didn't). I've tried looking for other books like it, but my searches typically bring up books explicitly about "leadership" which is not as interesting to me.
Books like Careless People are good too, but I'm less interested in banal evil and more in varying levels of competence and hubris.
