This is going to sound ridiculous but I am a 5th year PhD researcher in, Spoilers, Literature
I do fine with my research, my studies and writing my Thesis, but Ive found more and more I struggle to read for pleasure these days, maybe burnout? Maybe something else, but once upon a time you couldn't tear me away from a book…
To cut a long story short, I'm after gripping, short, one shot reads like Carmilla the Novella or Slow Bullets, anything Fantasy Sci Fi that maybe doesnt require homework? This is just to help me build up back into my love of reading, I miss it
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated, in really any genre
Thanks!
