I want to read more people’s stories… not just facts of people’s lives but also insight into the why behind choices and how their life went the way it went.

That being said, what are the best memoirs, biographies, maybe “inspirational “ books out there? Please nothing political, I just can’t with that right now but I’m open to pretty much anything else.

Acid for the Children, by Flea. It’s his story before RHCP, and he really nails the vibe of growing up in that time and place.

      All souls,
      Child of the jungle,
      Educated,
They poured fire on us from the sky,
      Mutant message down under,
      Night

Most of these are pretty intense, the least so probably being mutant message down under and child of the jungle. But they’re all incredible.

      Some of my favorites:

      Endurance

Grey is the color of hope

      Know my name

      Hearing birds fly

      It’s what I do

      We will be jaguars

      Between two kingdoms

      A house in the sky

The short and tragic life of Robert Peace

    4. Thanks a lot Mr Kibblewhite – Roger Daltrey

Enduring Courage: Eddie Rickenbacker and the dawn of the age of [speed? Flight? I don’t know] – John F. Ross

My World – Peter Sagan & John Deering

    5. Solito is outstanding and will read like fiction. It is political in the sense that it is about a child immigrating to the US in the 1990s, but those aspects are pretty limited.
