Over the last couple of years I’ve read, and read about Western philosophy, studying Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, and Wittgenstein; along with some general histories like Russell and Kenny.
Now I’m looking to balance things out with well-written overview books on Chinese and/or Indian philosophy that systematically cover major thinkers and developments over time.
I'd prefer something historically structured rather than purely thematic. Please also do chime in if you have any suggestions at all for non-western philosophical development history or discussion books!
