I Dnfed acotar at book two, read the Cruel Prince trilogy and I really liked the ethereal whimsical vibe, but the prose felt off to me in places. I absolutely adore the pretty gown, mushroom and moss, enchanted forest vibe, I just want more of it!! Bonus points for worldbuilding, and also if there’s minimal smut, I really didn’t like that about ACOTAR among other things lmao. Thank you!!

The Narrow Road Between Desires by Patrick Rothfuss. It’s a short novella about the daily life of the fae Bast. No smut despite the title.
