Sci-Fi on the level of ASoIaF, Second Apocalypse, and Malazan… that I haven’t already read.

I love the genre breaking, darkness, philosophy, and prose of those three series.

I've read:

Expanse, Dread Empire, Hamilton's The Commonwealth Saga and Salvation Saga, everything Dan Simmons wrote, The Culture, Gibson, Haldeman, Heinlein, Stephenson, Michael Flynn (and so should you), and a lot more I can't think of as I sit here.

A brief note: If your first thought is "Project Hail Mary," you have misunderstood the assignment, fundamentally.
