I’m going on a week-long spring break trip and want to bring one classic with me. Right now I’m deciding between The Picture of Dorian Gray and Pride and Prejudice.
For context, I enjoy classics and recently finished some heavier reads, so I’m looking for something engaging but still a great classic to read while traveling. Both seem pretty different in vibe—Dorian Gray sounds darker and philosophical, while Pride and Prejudice seems more social/romantic.
If you’ve read both, which would you recommend for a vacation read and why? No spoilers please.
