i have historically enjoyed MANY many dynamics like this in shows and films, but i can’t say i’ve ever read a book with one. was just wondering if anyone knew of any with the same or similar focus on a that kind of relationship? a man taking a boy under his wing? that sort of thing. preferably angsty like the song or in a different way!!!
