I've been in a reading slump since January, and this month I picked up alchemised since I saw it being recommended online, I knew nothing about the book, I thought it would be your typical enemies to lovers from school type of fantasy, BUT BOY WAS I WRONG. The book gave me a new perspective in life, and I don't think anything can come close to it, it broke my heart into tiny little pieces that it's going to take a while to repair it. It was unexpected, confusing, dynamic, and I loved every bit. In short, it will never leave my mind.
But even so, I badly need another book to read so that I won't get into a reading slump, here are some in my tbr
- poppy war
- the irresistible urge to fall for your enemy
- the mindfuck series
- the second death of locke
These are all dark in their own way, but I've just been craving for something that can give me the same feeling as alchemised, if you know a book other than my choices, please leave them below. Thankiesss
