Hi! I am searching for a new read and would really appreciate suggestions. I am looking for something light-hearted and humorous. Preferably, something that is also written in a simple language (just finished writing my thesis, so I need a break from a hard and purposefully convoluted language 🙂 ).
My two requirements: 1. I do not want a story that is set in the US, especially in New York. 2. I want the book to be good and original. I am sorry if it sounds a bit mean, but I am not a fan of books like People We Meet on Vacation or any of the fantasy "dark romance"-adjacent novels.
