Looking for books recomendations

Hey guys!

I wanna prove my girlfriend that i can read so i can get a kindle book!

but i really want to get into reading more, but I'm not sure where to start. To give you an idea of what I have read: LOR, Maus, The Prince, The Social Contract, Plato, a lot of politics, and usa politics books

I enjoy stories that have: History, War & Strategy, Epic Vibes, philosophy or game based like metro2033

I’m looking for all types of recommendations! It doesn’t have to be just like the ones I listed. If you think a book is a "must-read" for someone with my taste, please drop the title below.

I’m pretty new to this, so feel free to suggest the "classics" I might have missed or even some newer hidden gems. I saw like the underground railroad and 2666 in nyt best selllers. What do you guys recommend? Thanks!
