I enjoy reading PG Wodehouse. His word play is the best of all and each of the metaphors he uses in his work is one of a kind. I have picked up Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett lately and even though their humor and language still pales in comparison to that of Wodehouse's, they complement it through their extensive and intricate world building. Stephen Fry is decent as well, but I like him more as a narrator than as an author.

Any other humorist authors that write along these lines? Elon Musk is the only contemporary humorist who embodies all these characteristics and that I find genuinely funny. Elon Muskesque humor is also welcome for suggestion.
