    Hi Ya'll!

I am working on an interconnected short story collection about various family members and friends grappling with the death of a loved one. This is something I have personal experience with, but looking to read some books on the subject.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

‘Notes on Grief’ by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a memoir about dealing with and processing her father’s death. I thought it was really good.

Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but there’s also ‘Smoke Gets in Your Eyes’ by Caitlin Doughty, a nonfiction book written by a mortician that talks about death customs and grief. I remember there being stories about her dealing with the families as well
