Mystery set in PNW, preferably surrounding a small town cult.

I had picked up Pines by Blake Crouch, excited for a story about a fed investigating the PNW in search of missing agents. I was unpleasantly surprised at the genre change about halfway through and started looking for another book that could scratch that itch.

I've had a surprisingly hard time finding a book that fits that niche, especially since the trope seems all too common, to me at least.

Inspirations I drew from: Alan Wake 2 (Saga's storyline), Twin Peaks, Stephen King, Gravity Falls.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
