i'm looking for books that capture :
– sudden chaos, intense and grounded panic
– a writing focused on raw sensations
– but also nihilist, desperated writing

i'm currently writing short stories centered around a very fast, violent outbreak (in the style of 28 days later) and looking for inspiration.

i'm especially interested in "short term" and writing focused on raw sensations, if that makes sense. It can be any universe (non-fiction, sci-fi, horror etc)

The Road was a great inspiration ! I liked the raw, minimalist writing style.

since I write in french, recommendation of french authors is very welcomed !
