Hi, i loved the first book but didn’t like the second. Should i stop here or would you recommend the following books because they are different in style?
Hard to explain why i did not like “Messiah” but it felt like a chore to get through. I was not engaged by the plot and the political intrigue. From what i have read “children of dune” etc is more of the same (at least style wise) ?

I also loved Dune but soon gave up on the sequels; there are too many good books to waste any time on something that you are not enjoying.
