Hello,
I am about to take a long journey (18-30 hours) and I am looking for an audiobook but the recommendations of the audiobook services rather discourage me and I don't want to be stuck with a book I am not into. Some of my favourite books I can think from the top of my head are The Road by Cormac McCarthy, Sing Backwards and Weep by Mark Lanegan, Cement Garden by Ian McEwan, Glue by Irvine Welsh. Audiobooks I liked recently were probably Acid for Children by Flea and Creative Act by Rick Rubin. It can be shorter than the journey I mentioned but 10 hours or more would be ideal. I will be very grateful for your recommendations!
