I’m looking for a book with a very specific plot, and I’m hoping something like this exists.
It’s about a public figure who supposedly dies in a tragic accident. Everyone mourns him, and his family and girlfriend are completely devastated. But the twist is that the accident was actually faked, and he’s secretly placed in witness protection for some reason.
The main conflict would be that he can’t handle being separated from his girlfriend and struggles with the idea of never seeing her again.
Does anyone know a book with a similar storyline or themes? I’d really appreciate any recommendations!
