Looking for a new book—would like something fictional but educational in some way. Favorite genres are literary and historical fiction. Also big fan of some sci fi (fav book is probably the three body problem). Some fiction books I’ve also loved: poisonwood bible, the secret history, the goldfinch, pachinko, lion women of Tehran. In terms of learning I enjoy history, science, especially physics and cosmology, and philosophy.

M-0 by Florin Alexandru Tanasa. Recent discovery for me. Amazing read, but slightly difficult. If I would to describe it in a sentence, it’s like Nietzsche decided to write a novel with sci-fi elements. So, in that regard, it tick philosophy from your list.
Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (also by her, Purple Hibiscus)
Afterlives by Abdulrazak Gurnah
