I'm trying to dive deeper into reading, but I'm not 100% sure what I'm into. I listen to a lot of music, and I would love to find books that may feel similar (vibe-wise) to my favorite lyricists. If anyone here likes the same artists and could give me a similar-feeling book rec to their lyrics, that'd be great!
Some of my favorite lyricists:

– Phil Elverum (The Microphones)
– Jarvis Cocker (Pulp)
– Lou Reed
– Issac Brock (Modest Mouse)
– Courtney Barnett / Will Toledo
– Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Zeroes)
I know these artists are drastically different from each other, but I wanted a good range. I'm also interested in poetry books, if that seems more apt!
