Hi everyone, I need a book to read, could be fiction or nonfiction. I enjoy books that feel meaningful, a little deep, but not overly sad or heavy.

Some of my favorite books include Breath by James Nestor, Educated by Tara Westover, and Everybody Lies by Seth Stephen-Davidowitz. When I was younger I also really enjoyed the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books (still re-read them occasionally because I like their vibe.)

I am open to fiction or nonfiction, but ideally nothing to fantasy based. Thank you!

I love 10 minutes and 38 seconds in this strange world by Elif Shafak. It is a bit heavy at times, but still a nice, entertaining read with lighter passages as well

      Braiding Sweetgrass [Robin Wall Kimmerer]

It’s about human relationships to nature, and Indigenous practices of farming and cultivation.
