Welcome readers,
Have you ever wanted to ask something but you didn't feel like it deserved its own post but it isn't covered by one of our other scheduled posts? Allow us to introduce you to our new Simple Questions thread! Twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday, a new Simple Questions thread will be posted for you to ask anything you'd like. And please look for other questions in this thread that you could also answer! A reminder that this is not the thread to ask for book recommendations. All book recommendations should be asked in /r/suggestmeabook or our Weekly Recommendation Thread.
Thank you and enjoy!

This is such a great idea for the sub! I’ve been lurking here for ages with random questions about publishing dates or weird formatting stuff I notice in my vintage books but never felt like they were worth a whole post.
Actually had one sitting in my drafts for weeks about whether anyone else has noticed how the font choices in 80s paperbacks affects readability – super niche but it bugs me as a designer when I’m trying to read before bed. Plus I’ve got this growing collection of books on cassette that came with the physical copies and always wondered about the production process behind those.
Really hope this catches on because there’s so much random book trivia floating around that doesn’t need its own thread but would be fun to discuss in a casual setting like this
