I’m looking for a book that will supplement my lack of money to travel but isn’t obnoxiously ignorant. Also open to American travel from an American or non-American. I am probably not asking for the right thing, so if you can point me in the right direction that would be great too. I don’t care what the genre is as long as the characters are well written and interesting.
Also please don’t suggest Bill Bryson, nothing against him I’m just not in the mood for him.
