I went through the list of all books I read over the last couple years and my three favorites are: A Little Life, Demon Copperhead, and The Goldfinch. I realized that they are all pretty traditional Bildungsromans. A coming of age story filled with trauma and moral dilemmas. What are some other modern books in this genre and vibe that you enjoyed?
