just curious if there are any authors out there that have written well-done books of multiple genres? there are the occasional authors that might lean into a few different subgenres, but ultimately they stick to a primary one. wether its fantasy, sci fi, etc.
i imagine it would be difficult to be an author that bounces from fantasy to horror to sci fi. while any of these types of books might have some of these elements sprinkled throughout, they normally still fit into a single category.
