Hello!
I have been itching for a romantic period novel (preferably a classic) that crotchets together a deep-seated relationship of yearning between two lovers, beautiful poetic prose, a wild chasing of affections, and ultimately, the lovers reaching a crescendo where even the most conservative of angels would weep.
Think: Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, and The Journey into The Past (except the lovers actually get together.)
