Have you read any interesting books mainly set in more "mundane" environments that aren't all that common in books actually? With that I mean cruises, supermarkets, schools, adrenaline parks, retirement homes, hostels, all kinds of shops/business establishments, …? I look forward to any unique settings you've come across! I have to mention I don't read a lot of contemporary romance – I have a feeling these settings might be more frequent in those. Any genre is fine.
