Books like Call me by your name, The secret history, Journey by the moonlight, my year of rest and relaxation..
These are all very different books, yet i can sense a similarity that i am looking for in books. I like that i can learn from these pieces, they are philosophical, psychological, critical, existential and they explore academical themes. In a sense i call them "intellectualized". For ex. i really like romance but its really hard to find pieces that are not only about having sex and cheating. CMBYN is a perfect example of what im looking for in a romace book.
Anyway, i dont know what to call these type of fiction, and im looking for recommendations!! – genre wise i prefer romance, drama, thriller, coming of age, mystery, horror, new adult (IDK its really hard to describe)
