Please suggest printed book(s) that provide a factual, thorough, in-depth account of America's history. I don't need it back to the dinosaurs, but that would be OK, as long as the complicated and subtle history of human interactions are covered. Looking for an evidence-based approach, e.g. references to artifacts, documents, legislation, etc. Hoping to highlight achievements as well.
