Going to New Orleans and deciding on what book(s) to pack.
I’m going to New Orleans for about a week and I’m looking for suggestions on what book(s) to pack. I have an extensive home library that covers a lot of genres and I can’t decide on any book in particular. I’m primarily looking for fiction that is not devastating (like I don’t want to be sobbing). Otherwise no suggestion is off the table. I recently finished The Devils by Joe Abercrombie and Sunderworld V-01 by Ransom Riggs and enjoyed them. Thanks for any ideas!

A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole is a funny novel set in New Orleans
For fantasy, The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman
