Hatherence on March 22, 2026 8:04 pm Here are some dystopian books you might like. These are more thriller-y and action-y: * Venomous Lumpsucker by Ned Beauman * Sun of Suns by Karl Schroeder * The Imperial Radch series by Ann Leckie * Blackfish City by Sam J. Miller * The Jinn-Bot of Shantiport by Samit Basu * We Are Satellites by Sarah Pinsker These dystopian books are slower paced and less thrilling, but you may still like them: * The Chrysalids by John Wyndham * Amatka by Karin Tidbeck. Reminded me a lot of the great classic 1984 that someone else recommended here. * The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin * The Player of Games by Iain M. Banks * Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler * Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
